Modern Victorian in Lockport, IL

BEFORE Coloration
While an interesting color scheme, this house lacked a sense of drama. The use of only one color limited the showcasing of architectectural details.

AFTER Coloration
The application of late 19^th century colors on this Modern Victorian house allows the many architectural features to be enjoyed by everyone. The stripe on the garage gable provides a balance to the front façade. The contrast between the body and trim colors helps frame the building and provide scale.

The Front Two-Story Bay Section
The idea here was to highlight this feature and make it a major focal point. The gable gingerbread is further decorated by a two-color scheme.
