Published in "Victorian Homes" magazine, Summer 1994

The homeowners chose to paint this mid-nineteenth gem in classic white and added period shutters.

The bay window was painted to be historically accurate in the Italianate style.

This included additional colors on the trim and sash as well as the visually stunning

striped motif above the windows on the bay metal roofing.  The color design for this

double bay was taken from an 1860 Devoe paint book.
