Historic Bungalow in Pleasanton, California

This image from a 1920 house plans book provided the inspiration for the color scheme.

"My wife and I are coming to the end of a year long restoration/reconstruction of our 1906 Classic Bungalow located in the San Francisco Bay area ...we are seeking appropriate exterior colors to really make all our hard work pay off." ...John H.

A warm gray body color was selected from a 1910s era paint catalogue and a historically correct off-white was chosen for the trim.  The windows were painted dark to match the sample house.

This project was so successful that I have also consulted on the house next door.
