Dutch Colonial Revival

Before - Late 19th century gambrel roofed Colonial Revival residence before the new color scheme.

The white paint provides too much contrasts with the darker stonework causing the house to look top heavy.

After new paint scheme.  The owners wanted a more lively house with color and texture that better

reflected its Victorian heritage.  Dividing the house into three color bands created a more human scale.
