Completed Projects - Bronze Victorian

Stately Victorian Queen Anne - Reading, Massachusetts

" The house color scheme really looks awesome!" ...was the comment of the owner of this 1895 Victorian home.

The request I received from the owners was to create a stylish home that was not a wildly colored Painted Lady.

The detailing, as shown on this balcony, appears soft and highlights the major architectural features

without overpowering colors.  You need to take a a good look at this house in order to appreciate

the beauty and lovely design details.

Working with the gray roof and foundation stonework was imperative to creating a stunning color scheme.

The body is an historic gray/green with the trim in an equally historic soft-white.

Where possible, as on the carriage house doors, a bold accent color was employed to add drama.

"Thanks again for all your help!"  James
