Santa Barbara, CA - 1903 Victorian Bungalow
This Santa Barbara Victorian bungalow from 1903 has a wonderful mix of architectural styles. The Victorian age is represented with a wraparound porch, the Colonial Revival style is represented with the classical columns, and the then new Bungalow era is represented with the double front gable body style. The owners wanted a make-over that included a new roof. I suggested a modern red rounded edge shingle very representative of a late 19th century roof. For house colors we chose a period soft yellow with an historic gray trim. Accents included an off-white and a Arts & Crafts red to help set off the new roof.

The owner Todd had this to say about his experience:
"Here is your professional evaluation – In a word, outstanding. You are professional, knowledgeable, and kind ..we are completely satisfied and over the moon about the house ..it looks incredible!"
