You can choose any of Three methods to pay for the Color Service:

.  By Check - please make your check out to Robert Schweitzer and send to:

     3661 Waldenwood Drive , Ann Arbor , MI 48105

   See the explanations of the various "Levels of Service" and "Extra Services" below.

 .  By Credit Card * use the buttons below to compile your list of desired services.  When you are finished click the "View Cart" button and you will be taken to PayPal to complete your payment process. (you do not need a PayPal account to use this service) When you complete that step you will be returned to this web site. 

.  By PayPal's "Send Money" * option using your credit card (requires a PayPal account) - Go to PayPal.com - Click on the "Send Money" tab at the top of the page. If interested there is a "See Demo" button that explains how this service works. Next choose the services you want from the list below. (i.e. Top level color consulting - $570, plus Roof consulting - $70, Total $640) *Please use the cost by Credit Card amounts for services listed below to compile your total.

Then send that amount to my email address  robs@umich.edu

I will email you that day and  we can get started.

*Please note - Paying by credit card will cause a fee to be charged to my account. For these payments I am passing on the additional fee that I'm charged by PayPal. This allows me to keep the cost down for those who wish to pay by check.  The payment by credit card was instituted at the request of customers who wanted a convenient way to begin the service. The cost of paying by check reflects the lack of any fees.

The fees for the various services are listed below with their costs for both payment by check & credit card.

Levels of Service

BASIC ($400 deposit, $150 at color maps stage) $550 total
This level is for those who are not in a hurry and can move at a less frantic pace through the considering and test processes. The second payment is due at the time your final color selections are made, before I produce your specific color placement information.

TOP ($550 paid up front)
This level provides a quicker turn-around on all items and places your project higher in the queue.

RUSH ($640 paid up front)
This level is for those who need a short turn around time on their project and includes shipping of your final Color Placement Information by UPS Express.

IMPORTANT

The "level of service" you choose does have an effect on such items as email response time and status in the queue for preparation of Color Placement Maps.  I normally respond to queries received during the workday by that evening.   Rush level clients are answered firs, then Top level and finally Basic clients.  Service levels also have priority in the queue that can form during busy periods for producing the color placement information

Extra Services

Roof color coordinating  This service will provide you with assistance in selecting and coordinating your new roof colors into the overall building color scheme. Cost is $70

Porch design assistance This service will provide you with visual examples of period porches and porch details to assist in rebuilding, reconfiguring, or restoring damaged or removed porches. Examples will be provided from historic period sources such as plans books, builders' manuals, and millwork catalogues. These can then be adapted by your contractor or architect into the new porch design. Cost is $85

Garage/Outbuilding colors  This service will provide you with colors and color placement for a garage, carriage house, barn, or outbuilding.  Cost is $40

Other Projects  If you have other areas / issues that need a professional touch, email me with your specifics and I will quote you a price.

Shipping of color placement information [color maps]

• Normally "Color Placement Maps" are shipped U.S. Postal Service. (no extra cost)
• "Priority Mail" (U.S. Postal Service) shipping is available for $10 extra (cost includes shipping and handling)
• "Express" shipping is available for $35 extra (cost includes shipping and handling) UPS 2nd Day Air

NOTE: your fee goes toward the purchase of research materials for my scholarly efforts.
