Historic House Colors
Completed Projects - New Gothic Revival 2008 |
Situated directly on a cove that was cut from Naples Bay, this new home was designed in the Rural Gothic style of the 1850s.
The architect incorporated all the period elements of the early Victorian period, including high pitched gables and bargeboard.
The owners wanted to color the stucco in an historic period set of colors and highlight the wonderful architectural detailing.
The owners added enough "gingerbread" for the house to look authentic. They even added roof cresting and
finials to heighten the vertical nature of the home's design. This rear view shows the terrace and the pool.
